Where can I use the concrete, marble, granite protection shield?

The Care Cover concrete, marble, granite protection shield can be used on all furniture/finished based concrete, marble or granite surfaces, to include bench tops, splashbacks, wall features, seating and furniture such as table tops. The product can be used in both private (households) and commercial settings (restaurants, offices, hotels etc). This product is not intended to seal large concrete areas such as driveways.

Why should I apply concrete, marble, granite protection shield to finishes?

Concrete, marble and granite surfaces can be porus, meaning they easily stain and often absorb any liquids spilt on them. The Care Cover concrete, marble, granite protection shield is specifically designed to provide an invisible barrier on concrete, marble and granite surfaces to prevent food and liquid spills from staining and will make it easier to wipe up as they occur.

Unlike other concrete, marble and granite sealers on the market, this product is:

When I applied the product, it left a streaky surface. What should I do?

If you have a streaky surface after applying the product, it means you’ve used too much. To remove the streaks, respray the affected surface and rub the product off with a clean micro fibre cloth. This will take your surface back to being ready to be treated. When you reapply the product, ensure you follow the instructions on the bottle, and take care to spread the product over the concrete, marble or granite, not wipe off. 

How do you apply the concrete/marble/granite protection shield?

1 – Ensure the marble, granite or concrete surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from any dust or soiling.

2 – Spray the protection shield evenly across the surface area.

3 – Using a clean cloth, moving from the far side of the furniture or surface, back towards yourself in a straight-line motion, lightly spread the Protection Shield across the surface (take care to spread and not to wipe off).

4 – Allow treated area to dry and cure for 24 hours (longer in colder months/climates).

5 – For best results, apply a second coat by repeating steps 1 to 4.

6 – Wash cloth in water and hang to dry.
