Does the product have a smell?
The product has a very mild citrus fragrance when sprayed on a surface.
Are there any harsh chemicals in the product?
No. The product is water-based with all-natural, biodegradable ingredients. We don’t use any harsh chemicals; it’s not classified as dangerous goods or hazardous.
Can I rinse out the product in the sink?
Yes. The product is biodegradable and safe to rinse down the sink. It is also safe for homes using septic/grey water treatment systems.
Will it affect the colour/finish of my benchtop?
No. The product won’t change the colour, feel or finish of any stone surfaces. When spraying and wiping over a stone surface, ensure all residue of the product is wiped away after cleaning is complete.
What if it leaves streaks?
The product shouldn’t leave any streaks. If there are any signs of steaking after cleaning, rinse the cloth in clean water and wipe all the Stone Clean residue off the surface and then dry the surface with a clean lint-free towel/cloth.
How strong is the cleaner?
The active ingredient is citrus and will remove any food or drink spill. For stains that have been on the surface longer than a week, you may need to repeat the cleaning process to remove them. Removing long-term stains on porous surfaces, like concrete, may not be completely successful.
What’s the best cloth to use when cleaning the benchtop?
We recommend a microfibre cloth or any colour-fast, lint-free cloth. A paper towel can also be used
